Opportunities for Dutch companies
By 2030, Japan aims to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by 46%, with an ambition to cut them by as much as 50%. This creates opportunities for Dutch entrepreneurs who can help the Japanese sector use natural resources efficiently — reducing waste and minimizing environmental impact.
In particular, there are opportunities in Japan for cleantech companies active in:
Circular and bio-based materials;
Carbon capture and utilization (CCU) technologies.
